| Registration Fee Stays at $25

| In the January newsletter and March blog CTEC announced it would be increasing the registration fee from $25 to $35 and the late fee from $13 to $15. However, due to the fragile economy the board decided NOT to increase the registration fee. The registration fee will remain at $25. |

| New Education Standards Start 2010

Effective January 1, 2010, qualifying education (QE) providers that teach “contact” courses will be required to administer an exam that students must pass to receive CTEC credit. |

Registration is now open for the 2009/2010 renewal cycle. If you already completed the continuing education requirements (12 hours federal, 4 hours state, plus 4 hours of federal and/or state) now is the time to renew your registration. |
